Privacy policy
Unity Class is a free course run by Quang Ngô. This page explains what is collected when you read it, who collects it, and what you can do about it. Last updated 15 September 2026.
The short version
There are no accounts, sign-up forms or comments. The site never asks for your name or your email.
Google Analytics counts visits and measures page speed. Google AdSense shows ads. Both use cookies.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you choose, and you can change your choice at any time.
The site's own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
What the site itself collects
Nothing beyond what every web server has to see. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, your browser type and the address you asked for, so that it can send you the page and keep attackers out. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots. The site keeps no database of its readers.
If you email [email protected], we receive your address and your message. They are used only to reply to you, and deleted if you ask.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 tells us which lessons are read, roughly where readers are (country and city), which devices and browsers they use, and how fast pages load. It uses the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> to tell one visit from another. We cannot see who you are, and we never send Google your name or email — we do not have them.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by refusing cookies in your browser.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, Google among them, use cookies to show you ads based on your earlier visits to this site and to other sites. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners choose ads for you from what you have visited here and elsewhere on the internet.
You can turn off personalised ads from Google in Google Ads Settings. Other vendors' cookies can be switched off at aboutads.info, or at Your Online Choices if you are in Europe. Google may also let other certified ad networks show ads here; they use their own cookies, and most of them honour the same opt-out pages.
Some recommendations here are affiliate links, and they are labelled as ads. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The partner's own site may set a cookie to record that you came from here.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
Before any analytics or advertising cookie is used, you see a consent message from Google's consent management platform, which is certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Until you answer, Google Analytics runs without cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
_ga, _ga_<id> — Google Analytics: tells one visit from another.
__gads, __gpi — Google AdSense: limits how often you see the same ad, and measures ads.
Cookies on Google's own domains, such as doubleclick.net — personalised ads, where you allow them.
Sometimes a Cloudflare security cookie — tells people from bots.
Cookies on a partner's own site, after you click an affiliate link — record that you came from here.

The course is written for a general audience, not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
